Dear Revelle Academy Parents and Students,

        I wanted to take this opportunity to welcome you to Revelle Academy, School for the Performing Arts.  Thank you for choosing Revelle Academy and entrusting us with your family's dance and performing arts education.  I want to ensure you that at Revelle, students will receive quality training in a positive and esteem-building environment.  You can feel confident that Revelle is always committed to the safety of its students and always offers the optimal class selection and complete training of our up-and-coming artists.  We are also committed to training our students to believe in themselves and excel at Revelle and in life.

 Some of the features we have to ensure your students's safety- 

1. Swipe card entry system- Upon entering the studio, your student has a personalized security swipe card so Revelle staff knows your child has entered the facility.

2. Viewing windows in each of our three professional studios so you can see your child's progress.

3. Wood sprung floors in all three studios plus Marly overlay in two studios for pointe classes.

4. Self enclosed facilities.  Students can change studios, visit LaPointe Dance Store, and our offices without leaving Revelle's secure facilty.

In addition to performing arts training, Revelle also supplements our families' education by offering the following:

1. A Four-Part Educational Lecture series covering the topics of Nutrition, Injury Prevention, Stage Makeup and Hair and Pointe Shoe Wear and Care.
2. Semi Annual Student Evaluations with one-on-one feeback sessions for students in ou Professional Program Levels 4 and up.
3. Orientation Meetings for parents and students
4. Pre Performance Meetings to help you have a positive performance experience.

        One of Revelle Academy's distinguishing benefits is that is offers at least 3 major performance opportunities for our students.  Our Tap Company and Medici Company  have additional performance opportunities.  All Revelle sutdents participate in our Spring 2011 Recital.

        I have exciting news for our 2010-2012 year!  This year, Revelle will be dancing in TWO Tchaikovsky Ballets: "The Nutcracker" for our Christmas Ballet and "Swan Lake" for our Spring 2011 Ballet.  Swan Lake is an amazing performance opportunity for our Revelle Dancers.  Very few students in Florida, or the country get to dance in this wondeful ballet.
