Just because a dancer has been with a company for several years does not mean that he/she is a good instructor who can guide and direct students to their full potential.
First, instructors must train themselves to become professional dancers, or to a professional dancer's level. This takes several years of intense daily training.
Then, the dancer must have several years of teaching experience and training to become a proficient Instructor.
