Erica Jade Rodriguez was born in Sarasota, FL. At the early age of two, Erica began her training with the Bradenton School of Ballet. Erica has continued studying Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acrobatics, Modern, and Musical Theatre through her whole life.

Erica became a great performing artist and began performing with companies such as Disney World, Dollywood and on the Palm Beach Princess Cruise Lines.

In 2003 Erica completed her Bachelors Degree of science in Speech and Theatre with a Minor in dance, and has been teaching dance since 2004.

One of Erica's proudest teaching moments was when she choreographed the 2005 production of "42nd Street" for the Julie Rohr Academy.

Some of her favorite acting and dancing roles include Maria in "The Sound of Music", (2006), Sandy in "Grease", (2005), Tzeitel in "Fiddler on The Roof", and Ariel in "Footloose"(2003). Erica is also a proud member of the actor's equity.

Erica believes that every child is an artist. Her dreams as a teacher is to build up children through dance and theatre, to help them develop a strong sense of self-esteem, to tap into their artistic passion, and let them experience the power of their own spirit.

We are extremely excited to have Erica with us at Revelle Academy as she uplifts everyone she comes in contact with.
